Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) is a not-for-profit integrated health system located in Carbondale, Illinois. Established in 1983, SIH serves the southernmost 16 counties of Illinois and is the largest private employer in the region, with over 4,000 employees. The organization operates four hospitals and more than 30 clinics, providing a wide range of medical services. SIH offers comprehensive care, including the region's only comprehensive cancer center, cardiovascular care, and specialized services in neurology, pediatrics, and behavioral health.
