South East Alaska Regional Health Consortium

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is a nonprofit, Native-run health organization established in 1975. It serves as one of the largest health providers in the United States, offering comprehensive healthcare to residents across 27 communities in Southeast Alaska. SEARHC operates two Critical Access Hospitals: Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center in Sitka and Wrangell Medical Center in Wrangell. With over 1,700 employees, the organization focuses on improving health and well-being, particularly for Alaska Native communities. SEARHC provides a wide range of health services, including hospital care, primary care, specialty care, dental care, and behavioral health services. Patients can access care through clinics, hospitals, and a 24/7 Nurse Advice Line.
